The recent successful IPOs of popular companies like Bullish (BLSH), Circle (CRCL), and CoreWeave (CRWV) has pushed investors to look for the next big company to go public, which explains why the Anduril stock has been trending on Google.

This article writes about Anduril’s IPO and whether it is possible to invest in its stock.

What is Anduri, and is it the next Palantir?

Started by Palmer Lucky, the Oculus VR founder who Meta Platform fired, Anduril hopes to become the biggest disruptor in the defense industry. It has built several products that are currently in use by the US military.

The most notable of these products are unmanned aircraft, underwater systems, rocket motors, and force protection equipment. It hopes to be a new age defense contractor that is highly different from traditional names like RTX, Northrop Grumman, and Lockheed Martin.

Anduril has become a popular name in the venture capital industry. It recently raised $2.5 billion at a $30 billion valuation. It raised these funds from Founders Fund, Andreessen Horowitz, and General Catalyst.

Before that, the company had raised billions of dollars from venture capital companies. These investors have been attracted to the company because of it strong revenue growth, which doubled in 2024 to $1 billion. It also secured several contracts, including a $22 billion AR/VR deal with the US Army.

Most recently, the company announced that it was the third largest supplier of rocket motors, joining other big firms like L3Harris and Northrop Grumman. It launched its manufacturing project in Mississippi that will produce 6,000 motors by 2026.

Some analysts believe that Anduril could become the next Palantir, a company whose valuation has surged to over $300 billion in the past few months. It is a major defense contractor that provides solutions to the military and companies.

Like Palantir, Anduril has also become a major player in the artificial intelligence industry. Indeed, its official name, Anduril Industries, was based on the acronym of AI.

Anduril has also announced major partnerships with companies like Meta Platforms and OpenAI.

Most notably, the company will benefit from the ongoing robust spending in the defense industry. Donald Trump has continued the defense spending that has been ongoing for years. He has also pushed for NATO countries to boost their spending to 5% of GDP.

Can one buy Anduril stock today?

Unfortunately, retail investors are currently unable to purchase Anduril shares, as the company has not yet been listed. In recent statements, its founders, Trae Stephens and Palmer Lucky, have insisted that they are not listing the company, said.

Stephens said that the company was focused on building its products first before going public. The two have hinted that the company will ultimately go public, which could happen in the next few years. The Anduril stock price may surge after going public because of its disruptive capabilities as it seeks to modernize the US military.
